Camp in Mammoth

Camp High Sierra is the closest private campground. For reservations, go to their website or call 1-800-626-6684.

Mammoth Mountain RV Park, (760) 934-3822 (both tents and RVs). Our campground offers full and partial hook-up sites, tent camping, and cabins. A playground for the kids and an indoor pool and spa. Camping in Mammoth Lakes: Whether you want to pitch a tent with views of an alpine lake or under a forest of Jeffrey Pine, there are plenty of places to camp in Mammoth Lakes. Plan your summer camping trip to Mammoth Lakes in advance, as campgrounds in Mammoth Lakes tend to book early.

Dispersed Camping: If you’re looking for a more rustic car camping experience (think: no bathrooms, no trash cans, no running water, no campfire rings) dispersed camping might be an option for you. Dispersed camping is recommended for experienced campers who understand the principles of Leave No Trace. Before you set out on a dispersed camping trip, please make sure you read the regulations below so you can understand how to legally dispersed camp in the Mammoth Lakes area.

Children are allowed into the Festival, but it’s not the best environment for kids—there isn’t much for them to do. Please consider a local child-care service in lieu of bringing your child. Listings are referrals only; the festival is not affiliated with these businesses in any way.
