Staff Application

Thank you for your interest in joining our team for the 2022 Mammoth Festival of Beers & Bluesapalooza. Joining the Bluesapalooza Staff is a great way to meet new friends, receive a free t-shirt, and enjoy the show while making money! We appreciate the work of passionate and dedicated crew members helping to make Mammoth Bluesapalooza possible.

All Bluesapalooza Staff members must fill out the application below. You must be 18 years of age and you must be at least 21 years of age to participate in any beer tasting.

There are two paths to participate with the Bluesapalooza Staff.

PAID STAFF: All paid staff members are independent contractors and must complete a W9 prior to beginning work. Paid staff members receive $15/hour, a staff t-shirt, and will be placed in shifts depending on event need and individual skill set and availability.

TRADE STAFF: Trade Staff members receive a staff t-shirt, will be placed on shifts depending on event need and individual skill set and availability, and are eligible to receive festival tickets as noted below:

8 Work Hours = 1-day festival ticket and one beer coupon*

*Hours must be completed prior to receiving festival tickets. Beer coupons are good for one 12 oz. beer or non-alcoholic beverage. Must be at least 21 years of age to exchange. Beer coupons have no cash value, and are good only at the event-site Bluesapalooza bars. All earned festival tickets can be transferred to a different person. All persons receiving tickets need to be at least 21 years of age to participate in beer tasting. All earned festival tickets are redeemed at the Bluesapalooza Staff check-in tent.

The purpose of this agreement is to clearly state the expectations for our support providers as we all work together to create a positive festival experience for our guests, our paid staff and our volunteers.
I agree to represent the Bluesapalooza and/or my own Nonprofit in a trustworthy manner, with a high level of integrity, to follow the company’s established standards and any other local, state and federal mandates.
I agree to be present and perform any responsibilities that I have been assigned to in order to ensure the success of the festival.
I will not report for any shift while impaired nor bring alcoholic beverages into the venue at any time to share or be consumed by myself or others.
I will not consume alcoholic beverages while working/volunteering, while wearing a worker/ volunteer wristband and or a worker/volunteer t-shirt while I am representing the Bluesapalooza in any capacity.
Support Provider Agreement for Volunteers:
I, (and, if applicable, my Parent) on behalf of myself and each of my successors, heirs and assigns, unconditionally and irrevocably waive liability, release, and promise never to sue, forever discharge and relinquish and all rights, claims, demands, suits, actions, losses, damages, costs and expenses, including attorney’s fees and costs (collectively “Claims”), and I may incur or have against the Company, its affiliates including but not limited to Bluesapa LLC, Doheny Blues Festival, Inc., Omega Events, Inc., Mammoth Brewing Company, Sierra Event Management, the Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce, the CCBA, and their respective officers, event production companies, and landowners/lessors. I (and, if applicable, my Parent) authorize each of the Released Parties to call for medical care for me or to transport me to a medical facility at my expense if medical attention is needed. I also authorize any physician or other medical provider or facility to provide any emergency medical/surgical care. I acknowledge and agree that none of the Released Parties is under any legal obligation to render assistance to me. By working and/or volunteering at Mammoth Festival of Beers & Bluesapalooza, you agree to assume all risks associated with COVID-19 and other infectious and/or communicable diseases, viruses, bacteria, or illnesses, as well as agree to all other terms set forth at I acknowledge and understand that this Release is an important legal document, and by checking this box I am waiving substantial legal rights I may otherwise have to recover damages for injuries and losses, and sign it voluntarily and without inducement of any nature and intend for it to be endorsed to the greatest extent allowed by law. I am 18 years of age or older, or I am less than 18 years of age and I have the Parental Consent executed by my parent or legal guardian.
