Start the clock! In a little over three months, it’s time for my favorite party in the pines, the 23rd annual Mammoth Festival of Beers & Bluesapalooza in Mammoth Lakes, California. It’s really hard to believe this amazing gem of a festival has been around for more than two decades, but each year, it just keeps getting better. In my festival opinion, it checks off all the boxes: the best mix of music rooted in the blues and the best craft beer tasting tucked into one idyllic forest that sits right in the middle of a world-class ski town. This is my 13th year of attending (!) and I’m continually turned on by hearing a great new band I’ve never heard of, and over the moon when I find new beers and intriguing tastes that become my new favorites.
If craft beer and a heady mix of musical styles rank high on your list of favorite things, then this festival is for you. Check out the lineup!
