March 24th, 2020 | Amy Smith,
Like all events, we (along with the Town of Mammoth Lakes, Mammoth Lakes Tourism and Mono County Department of Health) continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation, and we will make decisions about this festival as we get closer to July 30th through Aug. 2nd. The festival is still four and a half months away and many things could change.
We continue to plan for the very best festival ever—this is our 25th Anniversary! As you may know, our band lineup includes Robert Cray, Larkin Poe, Allen Stone, Dorothy, Carolyn Wonderland, Mike Zito, The Commonheart, and more to be announced soon. On Thursday, our “local’s night”, we are planning a FUNK night with The Motet headlining. Our expectation is that when summer rolls around and weather is perfect here in the Eastern Sierra (as it usually is in late July), we will all be ready for a huge party.
For now, please sign up for Bluesapalooza text alerts. This is your best platform to receive up-to-date festival information, including announcements about how the COVID-19 virus might be affecting the festival. Please text BLUES to 59925, and we will keep our messages to a minimum with important information only.
Summer in the Mammoth Lakes Sierra is one of the most beautiful times and places on the planet, and we are looking forward to getting to the other side of this national emergency. Thank you everyone for your support. We are committed to moving the 25th Annual Mammoth Festival of Beers & Bluesapalooza forward.
