The idea to open South Lake Brewing Company came naturally from locals Chris and Nicole Smith’s, passion and love of Lake Tahoe. Inspired by the beauty, adventure, and community of their mountain hometown, it only seemed natural to start this dream in South Lake Tahoe and open the doors to the brewery in the spring of 2017.
Whether you’re looking to grab a beer and chill, or enjoy an entertaining night out with friends, the SLBC tasting room is the perfect place to spend time with friends and family. Not only is the brewery family-friendly, but they are dog-friendly as well! SLBC does not have a kitchen, but food vendors are on site during the weekends and they always allow outside food.
